Defensive Driving Courses

Defensive Courses are set out to develop correct attitudes and impart essential knowledge that will extend the participant’s skill in dealing with other road users and potentially hazardous situations. The ultimate aim of the course is to develop the participant to be “A SAFE DRIVER/RIDER.”

Our standard programme is a one-day course (8.30am ~ 3.45pm) consisting of theoretical lesson, simulator driving/riding and practical training. Special programme can be tailored to specific needs and requirements.

Road Safety Presentation is carefully designed to develop correct attitudes and impart essential knowledge that will extend the participant’s knowledge and understanding in dealing with other road users and potentially hazardous situations. The presentation can be programmed to target specific audiences, needs and requirements.

Enquiries (MINDEF/SAF)

If you are enrolling under MINDEF/SAF/DSTA to ride to and from the SAF camp, you are to register via the new E-registration. Instruction can be found in the SAF HQ Transport website under Transport Safety Resources.

Fill in the E-DRC registration form and must be endorsed by your unit Officer-in-charge. Once completed the form, send in via email to SSDC.

Applicant who is making self-payment, can come down personally to our centre to enrol. The course fee is S$299.75 inclusive of GST. The dates open for registration are on a first come first serve basis.
Registration must be done before the date of the course. Please come early to secure your bookings.

Document required are NRIC/ FIN card and Qualified Driving Licence.

Protect Our Staff From Abuse

Our staff have the right to work in a safe environment like everyone else.

Any person guilty of using any threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour which results in harassment, alarm or distress shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $5,000 under the Protection from Harassment Act 2014.

SSDC may terminate or suspend the Learner’s enrolment with SSDC at any time at SSDC’s sole discretion if the Learner is in material breach of the Terms & Condition and/or display unreasonable or abusive behavior towards SSDC’s instructors and/ staff.
