Elderly Vocational Licence Assessment

INTRODUCTION

This course is conducted for elderly vocational licence holders (Class 3) who are the ages of 70, 73 and 74 years old. They have to pass an annual enhance medical examination and driving assessment in order to renew their vocational licence.

  • Work Permit / E Pass(For foreigners)
  • Valid Photocard Driving Licence
  • Provisional Driving Licence (PDL) if Qualified driving licence has expired
  • Assessment Form Part 1 and Part 2 completed and endorsed By General Practitioner.
  • Medical Notification Letter from LTA.

On Road Driving Assessment
If you fail your driving assessment, you have to book another driving assessment.

  • 1ST Assessment Fee: $76.30 (Inclusive of GST)
  • Re-Assessment       : $59.95 (Inclusive of GST)
OTHER INFORMATION

On day of assessment, VL holders are required to bring along the medical notification letter from LTA, Assessment form with Part I and II completed and endorsed by the GP, NRIC and Valid Driving License and to be punctual with proper attire (including long pants and covered shoes)

Upon completion of the on-road assessment, VL holders are required to submit a copy of the assessment form and the on-road assessment checklist at least 2 weeks before DOB via email to [email protected] and submit a copy to Traffic Police eservices via https://eservices.police.gov.sg

Class 3 bus driver must provide his own Class 3 bus for the On-Road Assessment.

If you have vocational licences to drive both types of vehicles, you have to take the on-road assessment twice, once with a car and once with a bus.

Postponement of Course – One-week notice given in writing by applicant. Only one postponement is allowed.

WITHDRAWAL / TRANSFER / REFUND

Upon enrolment, course fee paid will be non-transferable and non-refundable.

Any person guilty of using any threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour which results in harassment, alarm or distress shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $5,000 under the Protection from Harassment Act 2014.

SSDC may terminate or suspend the Learner’s enrolment with SSDC at any time at SSDC’s sole discretion if the Learner is in material breach of the Terms & Condition and/or display unreasonable or abusive behavior towards SSDC’s instructors and/ staff.
