No, you are to hold only one valid test date. Any multiple bookings shall deem you
disqualified and no refund will be entertained.
The basic and final theory test status is same for Class 3 & Class 3A and it is also same for both manual (MTV) and auto (ATV) car learners.
You will know your test result immediately after you have completed your theory test.
The Basic Theory Test (passed) has no expiry date.
The Final Theory Test is valid for TWO years from the date you passed.
The Riding Theory Test is valid for ONE year from the date you passed.
You have to re-take your Final / Riding Theory Test again once it has expired.
You can apply for the Traffic Police practical test upon completion of the FINAL practical lesson assessment and passing the Final Theory Test or Riding Theory Test. You can also apply for your practical test (over) from the Counter, Kiosk or Internet.
Yes, you need to produce a letter from your doctor to certify that you are fit to sit for the
practical lessons and practical test including emergency brake test. You have to submit
the most recent letter to the Traffic Police Department on your practical test day.
Yes, it is compulsory for students to attend the required theory lessons.
Yes, it is compulsory to attend online theory lessons (1 to 4) thereafter you will be allowed to apply for the theory trial test. You can attend the defensive riding theory classroom lessons (5 to 7) after you have passed your RTT.
Booking is required on a first come first served basis and can be done ONLINE.
Every learner is entitled to 18 cancellation counts of Practical lessons. Once you exceed your cancellation counts, a charge of $5.35 (inclusive of GST) will be imposed for every subsequent cancellation.
You need to cancel your practical lesson appointment at least 72 hours in advance. If the cancellation is less than 72 hours, you can place your practical lesson appointment under “Try-sell”. You need to check the status of your “try-sell” regularly. If another student takes your “try-sell” slot then the slot will be considered as a successful “Trysell” and the fee will be credited back to your student account.
If other student does not book your ” try-sell ” slot and you are still unable to attend your practical lesson, your practical lesson fee paid will be forfeited and no refund shall be granted. If you would like to attend the practical lesson, you can remove your Try-Sell at any time.
Cancellation of practical lesson appointments can only be made through our website or Customer Service counter. This must be made at least 72 hours or 96 hours (including public holidays) in advance before the commencement of your practical lessons.
The fees paid shall be forfeited and are strictly non-refundable – there are no exceptions to this. There will be no replacement for the lessons that were missed.
Yes, you may use your 5G mobile phones for cancellations and payments.
After you have passed your eyesight test, you should apply for your Provisional Driving Licence (PDL) upon passing your Basic Theory Test. You may apply for your PDL online via http://www.police.gov.sg/e-services or the Police@SG mobile app by using your SingPass. The PDL is valid for 2 years and the fee is $25.00. Fee is payable by eNETS/Visa/Master Card and Debit Card.

Yes, after passing your practical test, you are required to apply for e QDL online. Fee is $50.00 payable by credit card, you need to keep the acknowledgement slip for successful application of QDL as a temporary licence until you get your photo-card driving licence (4 to 6 weeks later).
No, The Class 3A license is strictly for automatic transmission (ATV) car only. You will need a Class 3 driving license to drive manual or automatic car.
You can enrol for the Class 3 driving course as soon as you have obtained your Class 3A driving licence. Upon completion of all practical lessons, you can apply for a practical driving test for Class 3
You need to enrol in any of the driving centres and book a Basic Theory Test. Upon passing BTT, you may apply for conversion of your foreign driving licence in person at the TP Headquarters, located at 10 Ubi Ave 3, Singapore 408865
